Privacy Policy

Day Out is an app built by Sang. If you have any question about this policy or your data, email support@bysang.com.

Account. When you continue with email, Google, Apple, phone, or as an anonymous guest, we store an account identifier and the sign-in method. If you add a name or email, we store those too.

Plans you create.The vibe prompts you write, the plans and stops generated from them, titles, notes, preferred activity types, custom instructions, and the “less like this” memories you save so future plans avoid them.

Content you add. Files and photos you attach to a plan, which any member of that plan can view.

Location. Only when you ask Day Out to plan around you. We use your current location or your last picked area to find nearby places. Day Out does not track your location in the background.

Sharing & membership.Who is a member of a plan, and whether a plan’s link is private or public. Anyone with a public plan link can open and join that plan.

Device & diagnostics. App version, device and OS type, and crash or error diagnostics, plus usage events (such as which features are used) that help us fix problems and improve the app.

• Generate plans from your prompts and chosen area.
• Sync shared plans and keep membership in step across people.
• Provide and manage Pro features and plan limits.
• Keep the app reliable, secure, and free of abuse.
• Respond to support requests and feedback you send us.

We use trusted providers to operate the app rather than building everything ourselves: cloud hosting, authentication, database, and file storage (Google Firebase / Google Cloud); AI providers that turn your prompt into a plan, which receive the prompt and planning inputs needed to generate it; maps and directions (Apple Maps or Google Maps, your choice); subscription billing (the Apple App Store or Google Play); and analytics and crash diagnostics. These providers process data only to deliver their part of the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show you third-party ads. We do not use the content of your plans to target advertising.

You stay in control of your data inside the app:

• Rename, delete, or change a plan’s private/public link at any time.
• Clear individual or all saved “memories” in Settings.
• Leave a shared plan to remove your access to it.
• Delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Login & Security → Delete Account. This is irreversible.
• Turn off location access for the app in your device settings.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Email support@bysang.com and we’ll help.

We keep your account and plan data while your account is active. When you delete a plan or your account, we delete the associated data, except where we must keep limited records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. Backups and provider logs may persist for a short period before they roll off.

Day Out is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will revise the effective date above, and significant changes will be reflected in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
